Zawadi Fund International (ZFI) is an American-based nonprofit organization dedicated to financially supporting the CYEC. It was started in 2009 in response to interest from students and faculty from The Pennsylvania State University and Kansas State University who had volunteered at the Centre and wanted to support the programs and children. ZFI is managed by a Board of Directors and Advisors.
As a registered 501(c)3, all donations to Zawadi Fund are tax deductible in the United States. Furthermore, Zawadi Fund has no paid staff so all donations go directly to program expenses. The annual reports below provide a detailed breakdown of the Fund’s finances.
